We use a small but versatile kit for creating our online content. Our iPhones (13 Pro and 8 Plus) are used for photos and some of our video footage. We primarily use our GoPro Hero 7 for filming. The Manfrotto Pixi Mini (that came with the MV88+) is really handy for both photos and filming.
The GoPro Hero 7 Black has changed how we can film for the better. We can now set up more action shots and some wicked B-roll. Being so small in size, it doesn’t take up much room in our bag on a day out either.
A new addition to our kit is the DJI pocket 2 with the creator pack. This was what I used when I was away in Morocco as part of the Bailey Sahara Challenge 2. The creator pack means I have a microphone, stand and additional attachments all in one small package.
This Ulanzi case is invaluable when using the GoPro. It neatly houses the GoPro Mic Adapter and has a shoe mount for mics/lights etc. Plus it keeps the GoPro safe (note that it doesn’t protect the screen or lenses though. We use this tempered glass screen protector).
We purchased these extra GoPro Mounts when our original tripod one broke. Turns out, the additional mount it comes with is really versatile when out and about – we can take the GoPro straight from the bike mount and pop it on the tripod without having to change the mounts over.
This Anker MagSafe power bank attaches to my phone case and keeps my phone charging without impacting its use. It also has a little stand built in!
The Rode Wireless Go is awesome! The quality is amazing and means we can move freely without worrying about audio problems. It comes with wind socks plus you can plug in a lavalier mic. We bought this patch cable too so we can use this mic with our iPhones.
The Triple Cold Shoe Mount is handy to allow more space for mics and wires. It also means we can add a light or other shoe mount accessory.
We use this micro SD card in our camera.
Perfect for shooting time lapses or a piece to camera, we use this Tripod with a camera or our phones.
The Shure MV88+ vlogging kit for phones comes with everything you need to film straight away and saves carrying extra cameras if you’re filming on the fly. It comes in a small roll up pouch for storage too! We also purchased the AMV88-FUR Windjammer.
